"Photography allows me to stop time — to hold still, for just a moment, in a world of endless motion. To find the light that others walk past, and share what the night sky looks like when you finally take the time to look up."

Born and raised in Ketchum/Sun Valley, Idaho, I grew up surrounded by some of the most pristine landscapes in the country. It was here that I developed a deep connection to the night sky — the stars, the Milky Way, and the quiet presence of the natural world after dark. In 2017, the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve was established, protecting these skies for future generations — skies I had spent years experiencing and documenting. I was proud to contribute imagery that helped bring that designation to life.

My work focuses on landscape and astrophotography, with an emphasis on long-exposure techniques that reveal detail, movement, and depth far beyond what the human eye can see in real time. Aurora borealis, the Milky Way, lunar eclipses, deep sky objects — each one requires patience, planning, and a willingness to be out in the cold and the dark when everyone else has gone home.

As my work has evolved, so has my focus — toward documenting celestial events, remote environments, and the remaining places on earth where natural darkness still exists. I am also an drone photographer with 500+ flight hours, bringing an aerial perspective to the landscapes I love most. From the Wood River Valley and the Sawtooth Mountains to the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, the camera goes everywhere.

At its core, my photography is about connection — between people and place, and between our world and the universe above it. I want people to look at my images and feel something. To be reminded that the sky is still there, still extraordinary, still worth looking up at.

In 2025 I was selected as 1 of 25 photographers worldwide — and 1 of only 3 Americans — for the Capture the Atlas Northern Lights Photographer of the Year award for an image captured over Ketchum, Idaho. My work has been published in Yale University texts, featured on the cover of Sun Valley Magazine, recognized by National Geographic editors, and displayed internationally. I have traveled to over 50 countries and hold a BA from Loyola Marymount University.
